Conservation des jaguars au Costa Rica

Basé dans le parc national de Tortuguero, aidez à la protection des jaguars en voie de disparition

Découvrez les forêts tropicales du Costa Rica et aidez à protéger les jaguars en danger. Collecter des données, installer des caméras dans les zones éloignées et faire des recherches feront partie des efforts déployés pour la conservation à long terme de la faune des côtes caribéennes de l’Amérique centrale. Développez de nouvelles connaissances et une compréhension réelle de la forêt et de ses écosystèmes grâce à cette unique aventure.

L’emphase de ce programme est mise sur :

  • Études sur le comportement alimentaire des jaguars, de leur population
  • Utilisation de camera afin d’identifier les jaguars, de façon individuelle, presents dans la région de Jalova, ainsi que leur comportement alimentaire. Nous avons également aider à la publication d’un article sur les jaguars que vous pouvez lire ici
  • Collecte de leurs excréments afin de faire des études sur leur alimentation et leur génétique.
  • Aide à d’autres études faites sur le site (pouvant varier selon le moment de l’année) : les tortues, les oiseaux, certains singes, la biodiversité.
