On this expedition, you will be working with the community in helping with infrastructure development. You will also be involved with a range of different projects that involve fresh water management, education enrichment, environmental monitoring and mapping, income generation, waste management, health awareness, women’s empowerment and sustainable agriculture practices.
Volunteers will be acting as teaching assistants in the classroom or helping to run the one-on-one tuition program. We focus on improving literacy and numeracy levels as well as facilitating creative and physical development during arts and sports activities.
Volunteers may also get involved in redecoration of classrooms and dormitory improvements, installing and painting chicken coups and working on vegetable gardens.
